The film Chasing the Dragon II: Wild Wild Bunch is adapted from a true story that happened in Hong Kong in the 1990s. Tells the story of a Logan (Tony Leung Ka Fai) is the head of a gang that does the business of human trafficking.

Two kidnappings of Long Zhiqiang recently gave him 2.5 billion, but he needed a new explosives specialist because he had previously died. He who devoted himself to his mother (Cheng Kewei) and wanted a quiet life, did not want to go but because he had the necessary bomb-making skills, he finally agreed.
Disguised as a real-life criminal He Ziyang, made contact with Long Zhiqiang’s son, Long Zhifei who gambled in an underground club. He Tian rescued him during a police raid but he himself was arrested.
After getting out of prison, he met Tutu’s lover Long Zhiqiang and was taken to meet Long Zhifei, who tested his skills against locking him in a container against a time bomb. He was also sedated and given a lie detector test, Long Zhiqiang was present and eventually entered the gang.
He Tian woke up at Long Zhiqiang’s house, where he was introduced by the whole family including Boshi (Lian Jiadong) who recognized him from the 1992 shootout. Boshi told He Tian at the time that he blamed Long Zhifei for the death of his pregnant wife during the shootout, but he remained in the gang hoping to be able to take revenge one day.
Long Zhiqiang announced the next target of kidnapping Macau’s richest man, He Bufan, then He Tian overheard Li Zhiqiang explaining he knew there was police information in his team. Li Zhiqiang made a device for He Tian and after dealing with it turned it into a time bomb to collect ransoms.
