Synopsis
Tells about Sue Ann (Octavia Spencer) a murderer who experienced social rejection. He also gets peer pressure and intimidation. Sue Ann or Ma is a veterinarian’s assistant. He was lonely living alone in a city in Ohio. Sue Ann starts meeting a group of teenagers. Regardless of their age difference, Sue Ann was invited to the group. They met at the place he bought alcohol.
At first, it was fun for Sue Ann. He came and was called Ma by teenagers. His friendship with middle school students gave him the opportunity to socialize. He was also invited to other teen parties in the city. However, it became increasingly difficult for him to release his friends over the weekend.
He eventually developed an obsessive fixation on the group. The involvement of his friends’ parents also triggered past trauma. This development led to the violence that Sue Ann had to fight. How can Sue Ann hold her back so that she doesn’t hurt someone again?
