The film titled ‘Official Secrets’ is a 2019 American-British docudrama based on the life of reporter Katharine Gun who leaked a memo.

The memo detailed that the United States had eavesdropped on diplomats from countries tasked with passing a second UN resolution on the invasion of Iraq. The film is directed by Gavin Hood. Official Secrets (2019) stars Keira Knightley, Matt Smith, Matthew Goode, Adam Bakri, Indira Varma and Ralph Fiennes.

Synopsis

Katherine Gun (Keira Knightley) is a woman who works for British Intelligence. Utilize skills in the language to interpret communication in foreign languages. Katharine Gun is not a field agent but Katharine is a spy. A high priority request came on his computer that gave orders to be able to spy on member countries of the UN Security Council.

The United Nations Security Council effectively so that the intelligence it acquired was able to be used to assist the joint operation of the American-British NSA which intends to force these countries to support the proposed war in Iraq.
