Out in the open sea, a fisherman alone comes in the thick unruly fog. Because he’s alone – and will remain ‘alone’ for the rest of the film, he doesn’t get a name. We will use Fisherman (Joe Azzopardi, who is also a screenwriter with Winston).

While trying to navigate his small motorboat through a sea of endless fog, Fisherman found a sailboat that didn’t work. The sails go down, and not a human being is seen, Fishermen tie a boat and board a sailboat. He called to see if anyone on the ship needed help, and checked the kitchen (or whatever the official term “on board”) – but no one was there. None at all.

There were signs of people – blankets on the bed, full kitchen, belongings in the bathroom cupboard. But there is absolutely no other soul in it. The fisherman tries the radio, hoping he can contact someone. Unfortunately, there was no response at all, as if the air also died.

Lost what had to be done, and without a clue what happened on The Boat, things really changed when he found his motorboat was missing or not tethered. (Although he ties the knot tightly worthy of a sailor). He was stranded on an abandoned ship. Someone who has developed his own mind. But is he really alone? What really happened? What the movie at your favorite cinema …

The Boat 2019 Review

The Boat has many tricks along the way of the film. Failed navigation tools, complicated doors and locks, and the ability to cut solid cables. The fisherman needs to survive … or run away – if he will survive this ghost story.

The Boat is not for everyone. It doesn’t have big disclosures or horrible spectral gatherings. It’s like Christine’s movie without George Thorogood, The Shining if the only thing that haunts Jack Torrance is endless snow. And even though ordinary horror consumers will expect more, this isn’t always a bad thing.
