Jean, who has the power of the mind – similar to Professor X – has been involved in a love affair with Scott Summers (Cyclops), but is also loved by James Howlett, Logan (Wolverine). Narrated in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, while carrying out rescue missions in space, Jean was hit by cosmic forces that turned him into one of the strongest mutants. Jean lost control because of the power that is difficult to control, plus the dark memories of the past that make it even more unstable.
The existing order on earth was threatened because of Jean. Jean’s strength is released with destruction and anger. This makes the X-Men family have to face two difficult choices: between saving the world or Jean.
This film is the most intense and emotional X-Men series because the X-Men family must face Jean who is part of them. X-Men: Dark Phoenix will be the culmination of 20 years of the X-Men franchise. Unfortunately, at its inaugural screening last week in several countries, the film received relatively low income in the history of the X-Men film.
