Honey Boy is a film written by Shia LaBeouf about her personal life with her father. Besides writing the script, Shia LaBeouf also played the role of the father’s character in this film. In an interview, Shia LaBeouf revealed how her relationship with her father, Jeffrey Craig LaBeouf, and her childhood in San Francisco was trained as a commedia dell’arte clown.
Shia LaBeouf also revealed that his father struggled to get rid of opium heroin for years. The film Honey Boy was directed by Alma Har’el and will be starring Noah Jupe and Lucas Hedges. Honey Boy was the nickname of Shia LaBeouf when she was a child. The film will be released in America on November 8, 2019, and has previously been shown at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The Honey Boy film has also won the Special Jury Award in the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
