The film ‘Pet Sematary’ tells the story of a doctor from Boston, Massachusetts named Louis Creed. Quoted from Wikipedia, the film ‘Pet Sematary’ is an American-made supernatural horror film adapted from a novel titled by Stephen King.

Synopsis
One day, Louis moved to a small town in Ludlow, Maine, with his wife named Rachel, his two children Ellie and Gage, and Ellie’s cat, Church. As Ellie explored the forest around their new home, she saw a funeral procession of dead dogs by the children.
The children walked to the cemetery that read ‘Pet Sematary’. Jud Crandall, Ellie’s neighbor, warned Ellie and Rachel that the forest was dangerous and it was better not to go out alone. Meanwhile, in the hospital, Louis was shocked because he failed to save the life of his patient named Victor Pascow.
The night after Pascow’s death, Louis had a dream that felt real when he met Pascow. Pascow took him to the back of the cemetery and warned Louis not to “explore further.” Louis finally woke up and found his feet and sheets covered in mud as if the nightmare he had had was a reality
On Halloween night, Church was killed by being hit by a truck. Jud takes Louis to the Pet Sematary to bury the Church’s body. There, Louis was stunned when he saw the ancient cemetery that was used by the Micmac Indians.
The next day, Louis was surprised because Church returned home alive and seemed more aggressive. Louis was told Jud that the burial ground at Pet Sematary was able to return dead bodies back to life. The tomb is believed to be inhabited by a spirit known as Wendigo.
Church who had attacked Gage was finally released by Louis on the highway under the pretext that the cat escaped on his own. While the family was celebrating Ellie’s birthday party, Ellie saw her cat in the street and rushed to her side. How unfortunate Ellie’s fate was because a large truck hit her to death.
Louis’s family was devastated to see their son died pathetically and eventually moved temporarily to Rachel’s parents’ house. Jud had a feeling Louis wanted to raise Ellie at the funeral and immediately warned her with the phrase “sometimes dying is even better”.
But Louis did not care and instead sedated Jud so as not to stop the action. Louis took Ellie’s body from her grave and smashed it with the mystical burial ground. Sure enough, Ellie returned to life but with many changes to her personality.
