The Layover 2017 is an American comedy film starring Alexandra Daddario, Kate Upton, Matt Barr, Matt L. Jones, Rob Corddry, Kal Penn, and Molly Shannon. The Layover was directed by William H. Macy and the script was written by David Hornsby and Lance Krall.
Synopsis The Layover
Kate (Alexandra Daddario) is a teacher who is experiencing a deadlock when applying her teaching methods in the classroom thing and impacting on the continuation of her career in her current teaching place. Meg (Kate Upton) cosmetics sales, Kate’s roommate, who also has problems with her cosmetic products that don’t sell well and makes her financial condition a little problematic.
Meg and Kate who are friends since childhood then make a vacation plan to forget for a moment the burden of their thoughts. On the plane they meet a handsome man named Ryan (Matt Barr) who is able to attract the attention of Meg and Kate, Ryan’s charm makes Meg and Kate involved in a competition to win Ryan’s heart.
Unfortunately, their vacation plans were slightly hampered because the flight had to be delayed due to weather factors. Ryan’s presence was able to cover the disappointment of Meg and Kate, both of whom were still busy in the competition for Ryan and Ryan enjoyed as entertainment.
With the help of Craig (Matt Jones), they then tried to continue the journey by car, a number of events in the trip made Meg and Kate’s competition so hot that it threatened the longevity of their friendship that was fostered since they were little.
