Jordan Peele re-released the horror film titled Us, after successfully winning the 2018 Oscars through getting Out in the category of Best Original Screenplay Scenarios.

Us tells about the terror facing the Adelaide Wilson family while spending summer vacation on the coast of the United States. This terror is increasingly tense when they arrive at a family that has a face and appearance that is very similar to Adelaine and her children.

Related to the story idea, Jordan Peele explained, Us was indeed initiated from the doppelganger anecdote (twin or the appearance of someone’s face that is very similar) that once made him very scared.

Synopsis

The terror in Us is related to the trauma suffered by Adelaide when he was a child in 1986. Adelaide Wilson (played by Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o) has unforgettable memories in the playground arena that continued to haunt her until she was married.

Until then, Adelaine told her condition to her husband, not long after the trauma that haunted him until now really appeared terrorizing. The same terror also happened to Mrs.’s family. Tyler (played by the actress of The Handmaid’s Tale Elisabeth Moss) who lives quite a distance from her residence.

Terror is increasingly tense, a number of mysteries open one by one. However, will the Adelaide Wilson family survive the pursuit of terror that both disturbs him and his family? Is the trauma that haunts Adelaine since childhood with the mystery in the family?
